Friday wear dress with your favorite "blast from the past" accessories!
Uniform bottoms and tennis shoes must be worn each day.
Important reminders: Ticket sales end Thursday at 12:00. NO EXCEPTIONS. Students must present badge at time of ticket purchase and time of entry to the dance.
Homecoming Game 2025 is Thursday, Sept. 18 at 6:00. Tickets are available on GoFan.com for $7.00 each. ONLY Clear bags allowed in the football stadium.
Homecoming Dance is Sept 19th. 7th grade is from 5:30pm-7:00pm and 8th grade is from 7:30pm-9:00pm. Prompt pick up is expected. 7th Grade students will enter and exit dance with normal car line procedures. 8th grade students will drop off in the bus line no earlier than 7:30. Please view attached map for addition reference.
Reminder: Monday, September 22, 2025, is a Distance Learning Day for students. Assignments will be sent home and/or posted on Schoology. Please message your child's teacher on the MCPSS app if you have any questions.

Today, 9/2, students received their Semmes Middle School ID badges. The library will print one additional badge for each student. Each badge was issued with a clip so it can be easily attached to the student’s collar. Please note that the ID badge is a mandatory part of the school uniform and must be worn daily.
Students will need their ID badges for:
Lunch
Checking out library books
Purchasing dance tickets
Attending any school dance
If the 2nd badge is lost, there is a $5.00 replacement fee. Replacement payments should be sent to the library.
